Holiday Home Chalet Simeli

The chalet Simeli is situated directly at the ski slopes with a stunning view of the imposing mountain scenery: a perfect choice for your skiing or hiking holidays in the Bernese Alps with your friends or family. The chalet was renovated in 2021. The façade of the chalet and the interior design emphasise the interplay of old and new. Whether with your friends or family, you will feel at home here from the first moment.

The 4-room holiday home extends over two floors. The living room with a fireplace, the open kitchen, a bedroom and a bathroom with a rain shower are on the ground floor. On the upper floor, there are two more bedrooms and another bathroom. One of the two bedrooms offers enough space for a sofa corner and can be used as a TV or gaming room.

Summer

The terrace and the balcony of the Chalet Simeli offer a wonderful view of the Eiger North Face. The terrace has a large dining table and a comfortable outdoor sofa that invites you to linger and enjoy the evening sun.

With hiking trails and ski slopes in close proximity, the Chalet Simeli is an ideal starting point for all activities in any season. In summer, there are over 500 kilometres of mountain and hiking trails in the Jungfrau region. Other popular summer activities in the region include mountain biking, scooter biking, summer tobogganing and climbing.

More information on activities in the Jungfrau Region can be found on the Jungfrau Railways and Jungfrau Tourism websites.

Winter

In winter, Chalet Simlei offers a secret advantage. The ski slope is right at the doorstep, and the Grindelwald Terminal can be reached via the slope in 10 minutes. The terminal opens up connections to the Eiger Express and the Männlichen Bahn. The starting point to the Grindelwald-First region can be reached from the terminal within a few minutes. A total of 45 cable cars and ski lifts and over 200 kilometres of pistes are available in the Jungfrau region. For non-skiers, the region offers plenty of winter hiking trails as well as toboggan runs, snowshoe tours and opportunities for cross-country skiing and ice sports.
